Meet John Murphy
John Murphy has been working at WCSU since 1999, and is the Director of Event & Campus Management and Auxiliary Services. He graduated from Long Island University, C.W. Post with a B.F.A. in Communications, Radio & Television. John continued his education, earning his Masters’ in Counseling & Human Development. He lives in New Milford, CT with Jillian, his wife of 23 years, their daughter Hannah, son Luke, and foster son Michael.
In his time off of campus, Advisor Murphy enjoys hiking in nature and exploring the world that most people avoid: fungus, mycelium, and mushrooms. He is also known to referee the occasional soccer game.
