Vanesa Dominguez is a senior majoring in Media Arts with a minor in Marketing. She is passionate about connecting with students, leadership, and creating a welcoming campus community. Vanesa currently works with Media Services and serves as Vice President of the Western Marketing Association. She also has previous experience working with Housing & Residence Life as a Resident Assistant and spent four years as a member of the WestConn Field Hockey team. Now commuting to campus from Danbury, Vanesa continues to stay actively involved in the WestConn community through her various leadership roles. She enjoys connecting with students, creating new experiences, and helping others find ways to get involved on campus. During her free time, Vanesa enjoys videography, content creation, traveling, and spending time with friends & family.
Meet Vanesa Dominguez
Vanesa joined the Student Government Association in December 2025 and served as a Senator throughout the Spring 2026 semester before being elected Director of Student Relations. In her role as DSR, she works alongside the Student Relations Committee to support WestConn’s clubs and organizations while creating new and exciting experiences for students. Vanesa is passionate about making sure students feel heard and encourages them to share their ideas, feedback, and what they would like to see on campus. She hopes to create more opportunities for students to get involved, connect with one another, and make the most of their experience at WestConn.
