Dennis Leszko earned his bachelor’s degree in music from Western Connecticut State University. Shortly after graduating, he began working in Student Affairs as a Programming Assistant at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. During that time, he earned a master’s of arts degree in teaching.


In the fall of 1997, Dennis decided to follow his other passion…the arts. He was the Orchestra Manager for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Director of Operations for the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and was eventually named the Executive Director of the Lima Symphony Orchestra of Ohio in 2001. Dennis ultimately returned to Connecticut and worked at the Downtown Cabaret Theater in Bridgeport, CT coordinating the marketing and box office operations.

In the spring of 2004, Dennis returned to Western Connecticut State University where he is currently the Director of the Center for Student Involvement. Dennis supervises the daily operations of the CSI, clubs and organizations, and is the primary advisor to the Student Government Association and the Program Activities Council as well as the Administrator of Fraternity and Sorority Life on campus. He also oversees the management of the Student Activity Fee, and directs of the Leadership, Compassion and Creativity Certificate program on campus.
