“One Hope of Many People”

Sigma Delta Tau, or Sig Delt, was established at WCSU on March 25th, 2012. Sig Delt works with many philanthropies including, Prevent Child Abuse America, Jewish Women International, the Sigma Delta Tau Foundation and Women for Women International. They also have an Adopt A Street location in Danbury where they help pick up litter. One event that Sig Delt is known for is their annual “Bid it to Win it” Fall Basket auction for Prevent Child Abuse America. Last years auction raised over 1,000 dollars! Sig Delt also has their own official color of OPI nail polish every year that is sold, where 100% of proceeds go to end campus sexual assault and fund children’s libraries in Women’s Shelters across the United States.

“We’re proud of how much we continue to empower ourselves and others, always. We continue to live by our values and help create a positive lasting impact. Empowered Women, Empower Women.” – Sigma Delta Tau sisters

Chapter Vision: A current goal our chapter has is striving for us to continue to empower and support each other- especially during these trying times. We want to make sure all of our sisters feel connected to one another and hope to do the same for anyone interested in joining! We would also love to do our best to fundraise virtually this semester for our philanthropies as they need our help now more than ever!
