The Kitsune are seen to be fox like creatures with up to nine tails. Century old Kitsune have the ability to take a human appearance. Typically, they favor taking the form of either a young beatiful woman or an older man. While some Kitsune are friendly, aid and sometimes even fall in love with humans, there are evil Kitsune spirits that are more mischiveious in nature. The crueler ones are capable of corrupting a devout priest to forgo their gods and posess women to lure men to their doom.

How to Attract a Kitsune:

Kitsune enjoy fried tofu, so one way to attract a Kitsune spirit is to leave a portion of fried tofu at your doorstep. They usually gather around Inari Shrines in Japan, so one might be able to find one naturally there.

How to Repel a Kitsune:

Kitsune will run away embarrassed if you manage to find their tails. Kitsune are also fearful of hounds and will run away at the sight of one.
