Carly Mengler, SGA Community Inclusion Officer 2020-2021

Carly Mengler

Background
Carly is a Senior studying biology with a concentration in ecology and a minor in psychology. Originally from Brewster, NY, she moved to Danbury last Spring and commutes to campus. She is the office assistant at the Center for Student Involvement, a member of Roots and Shoots, a member of the Biology Club, and part of the Kathawari Honors Program. Carly has a passion for wildlife conservation and environmental policy, hoping to work along the lines of environmental and endangered species protection. She joined SGA in Spring 2021 and has enjoyed every moment since then.

SGA Experience

Carly became a senator for SGA in Spring 2021 and then was elected Community Inclusion Officer for the 2021-2022 academic year. She has served on the campus life and research committee. Now, she is the chair of the campus life committee and delegates all business associated with student relations. Carly works directly with WCSU students and all clubs/organizations on campus. She is also part of the following committees: Homecoming, Westfest, Event and Logistics Operations, Weekend Activities Council, SLRB, and General Education (university committee).
