“We may not have it all together, but together we have it all”
Delta Gamma Phi, or Dgphi, was established at WCSU on May 7th, 1990. Delta Gamma Phi is a local organization founded at WCSU which means we can only be found here at western! Our motto is “individually unique, together complete”, which is something we all hold close to our hearts. The motto goes to show that we all have different stories and backgrounds but, in the end, we all come together like pieces to puzzle. We are a strong group of women who all hold our sisterly bond close to our hearts and love giving back to the community. Delta Gamma Phi has two philanthropies, Ann’s Place and NORD. Ann’s Place is a nonprofit support center that provides a variety of services to individuals with cancer and their family members. Their services range from professional counseling, support groups and a lot of wellness activities. NORD is the National Organization for Rare Disorders which provides individuals, with rare diseases, with support and necessary services. Their goal is to improve the lives of those individuals and their families as they are affected by rare diseases. NORD was funded by one of our alumni which we hold very close to our hearts. Delta Gamma Phi also works with the Women’s Center on campus to host an annual “Take Back the Night” walk. DGPhi also hosts an annual Greek Wide “Ugly Sweater” Holiday party, where all organizations get together to celebrate a successful semester.

Chapter Vision: Delta Gamma Phi’s chapter goals are to continue to strengthen the bond we share in our sisterhood. Through tough times it is important for everyone to know that we all support and care for each other. We want to continue to discover the best ways to host virtual events for ourselves, Greek life and WCSU. We want to also find the best ways to host fundraising events so we can continue to show our support to our philanthropies and work closer with them to help as much as we can. Lastly, we want to get closer with the other members of Greek life to unite us all so we can support and help each other!
