The WCSU Tickborne Disease Prevention Laboratory (Connally Lab) focuses upon the prevention of Lyme and other infectious diseases transmitted by blacklegged ticks in the northeastern United States. In particular, we are interested in how diseases can be prevented peridomestically by manipulating the landscape, interfering with the tick life cycle, or by changing patterns of human behavior. Students are vital to helping the laboratory function. More than 24 undergraduate students have contributed to Tick Lab projects since 2011. You can check out our team here.
We will be seeking 2018 Summer Research Interns! Click here for details.
